What to expect at the All-Russian Artificial Intelligence Olympiad?

The All-Russian Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence — open to international students — runs in several stages, from a practice round to an in-person final in Moscow. Here is how the competition is structured, when each stage takes place, and which webinars can help you prepare.
Stages of the Olympiad
Participants go through three main stages — the qualifying round, the main round, and the final. They are preceded by a practice stage that helps you get comfortable with the format and the platform.
Practice stage — 1 July to 20 September, online. Open to everyone: you can solve tasks from previous years and get used to the platform and to automated grading. Results of the practice stage do not affect participants' rankings.
Qualifying round — 21 September to 6 October, online. Held remotely: you can start the tasks at any time during this period. Rankings are compiled from the results, and participants who reach the qualifying score advance to the main round.
Main round — 15 to 21 October, online. Also held remotely, in several parts:
15–18 October — solving the first two tasks;
19 October — results;
20–21 October — a proctored task for participants with high scores.
Final — 16 to 21 November, in person in Moscow. Finalists compete on site. The winners and runners-up of the Olympiad are determined by the total score of the final.

Throughout the competition we run free webinars for students and teachers to help them approach the tasks with more confidence. A recording is available after each webinar.
25 August — a webinar for teachers and regional education authorities;
19 September — preparing for the qualifying round;
12 October — a review of the qualifying-round tasks and preparation for the main round;
31 October — a review of the main-round tasks and preparation for the final;
7 November — preparing for the final stage of the Olympiad.
